產品概述
MEM培養基(Minimum Essential Medium)也稱最低必需培養基、最小基本培養基或低限量Eagle培養基,由Harry Eagle在Eagle基本培養基(BEM)的基礎上發展而來的,是一種最基本、適用范圍最廣的培養基,是動物細胞培養中最常用的培養基之一。MEM培養基僅含有12種必需氨基酸、谷氨酰胺和8種維生素,成分簡單,主要用于貼壁細胞的培養,配方修改后也可用于其他類型細胞培養。
MEM含NEAA(非必須氨基酸)的培養基,是在MEM培養基的基礎上添加L-丙氨酸、L-谷氨酸、L-天(門)冬酰胺、L-天(門)冬氨酸、L-脯氨酸、L-絲氨酸和甘氨酸7種NEAA,能降低細胞培養時細胞自身生產非必須氨基酸的副作用,有效促進細胞增殖代謝。
本產品含有多類細胞培養所需的氨基酸、維生素、無機鹽等多種成分,但不含蛋白質、脂類或任何生長因子,故此產品需搭配血清或無血清添加物使用。
